Leanne and Keith were married in Essex and partied at the Red Brick Barn, Sutton Hall. The red Brick Barn is a 17th Century grade 2 listed building, has stunning grounds and is a working farm. Its simply stunning and is a photographers dream. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, outbuildings and some quirky features its an great spot for a wedding.
So I met Leanne and Keith a year or so ago by way of introduction from their friends Nicola and James. Nicola and James’s booked me as their Crondon Park Wedding Photographer. I instantly liked them both, so when Keith said he will be driving Leanne to the reception in their renovated VW campervan I knew it was going to be a good day.
Bride prep was at Leanne’s grandparents house and you could see the church from the garden. Everyone was in high spirits, but at the same time it was relaxed and chilled. A beautiful summers day just right for sipping champagne in the garden. A short stroll to the church of St Peter and St Paul to where Keith, and a large congregation, were waiting. With a packed church Leanne’s face as she walked up the aisle was just perfect. A huge smile and you could see the barely contained excitement.
Ceremony over and it was off to the Red Brick Barn at Sutton Hall. A proper english garden party with a festival feel. The best game of ‘Guess Who’ (made up with pictures of friends and family in red and blue frames), speeches out doors, hog roast and bbq and a laid back summer vibe. Some top dance moves rounded off a great day.
Oh, and that wonderful sunset…..
I wish you both all the very best for the future.
